INTRODUCTORY Pro3000*
*All Pro3000 training is conducted on the most current
version of the sofware and incorporates the System Manager Module.
General Information
- Relationship of Pro3000 module to the Department of Labor databases
and the Revised Handbook for Analyzing Jobs (RHAJ)
- Use of the Worker Qualifications Profile as it relates to both
jobs and people
- Background and development of Pro3000 as well as target
population groups and potential service areas
- Entering customized data identified as necessary by your facility
- Administration and scoring procedures for COMPASS, COMPASS LITE,
and the Spatial Aptitude/Non-Verbal Reasoning Survey (SP/NV).
- Generation, interpretation and use of reports available through
all Pro3000 modules
- Customizing all Pro3000 reports and adding personal
observations and comments
- Building a composite Work History Profile, generating a Work
History report, and use of the profile in searching for jobs
- Overview of purpose, use and significance of the Test Conversion
(TECO) and Work Sample Scorer (WSS).
Specifics on COMPASS Module:
- Discussion on Norm-Referenced and Criterion-Referenced testing
- In-depth, hands-on experience with each COMPASS subtest including
administration, interpretation, instructions and scores
- Analysis of COMPASS Quick Check/Raw Data Review reports
- Implications and impact of retesting
- Implications of test results on job matches

Occupational Titles (DOT), Career Planner (CP), Census Database (CEN),
People Database (PDB), Local Job Database (LDB), Military Occupation Code (MOC),

- Current/Potential/Advanced search logic
- Limited ability factors and their impact on searches and job

This session will be customized to meet the needs of the attending
participants. Topics addressed could include (but are not limited to):
- In-depth interpretation of assessment results
- Advanced database search logic
- Use of Factor Application Coefficients (FAC's) and Potential
Increments (PI's) in searches
- Customizing database searches to meet the individual's current
level of ability, expected level of improvement and/or compensation,
as well as areas of interest
- Extensive use of Classification Codes, Keywords, and/or Custom
Fields
- In-depth interpretation of database reports
- Advance comment editor/word processing capabilities
- Building a local database using profiles and descriptions from
the DOT Database
- Editing the Competency Database
- Editing curriculum in the Career Planner

Manager, Evaluator, Client and Activity Records
- Common Aviator operations: signing on; moving around in the
software; and collecting, viewing, saving, restoring data
- Entering and defining custom Aviator system information, such as
disability/ethnicity/source codes, client demographics and facility
titles
- Administration and scoring procedures for the Aviator Skills
